On 4th July, the official launch of the Highlands College Foundation took place at Government House, supported by a further donation of £5000 from GR8.

We were delighted to attend thee launch of the Highlands Foundation a tGovernment House and present a second donation of £5,000 to support its work. It takes the total donated by GR8 to date to £10,000.

GR8 began working with the Foundation in 2020 after recognising that the Foundation provides the support that some need so that they can get on in life and we wholeheartedly support that vision.

Sometimes the decision to get a qualification hinges on whether the student can afford a set of chef’s knives for a culinary course, or a set of spanners to train as a mechanic. It could equally mean a laptop for a computing or digital course. We believe in nurturing local talent and supporting people into employment and that’s exactly what the Highlands Foundation does.
